Garnet red with a purple rim, very clean and bright.
On the nose it is very powerful, with ripe black fruit thar reminds us blackberries and plums, on a spicy and mineral background. On the palate is potent with very fine tannins, hints of ripe black fruit, white pepper, esparto grass and scrubland.
Caravaca de la Cruz is a land of history, culture and wine, embodied in the celebrations of the Caballos del vino and the festivities of the Santísima Vera Cruz. Legend has it (hence the tradition) that in the 13th century, the Knights Templar managed to bring wine on their horses to the castle of Caravaca to prevent the people from drinking poisoned water.
